Race Information - here (pdf)

The Second race of the 2007 Royal Forest of Dean Race series sees us at Drummonds Dub lake for the Classic and Sprint race.

Swimming in a lovely lake which is owned by PGL you will then enjoy a bike ride which will not only test your biking abilities but also provide some stunning scenery. The run course is mailnly off road and will provide some testing conditions for the athletes. It has one climb on the lap and this will find who the strong runners are. The run will be 5km this year - I promise.

Monmouth Tri Club use this race as their club champs. If any other clubs would like to use this event please let me know.

We look forward to welcoming you to this lovely part of the country.

Swim

750m in the warm waters of Drummonds Dub Lake.

Bike

This testing bike course will allow the strong riders to make some ground on the fast swimmers. Taking some great views across to the Malverns the course has some testing climbs and fast decents.

Run

The 5km run takes you around the Lakes and over the hill. The strong cyclist can be caught here if they have gone to fast on the bike. Last year shaw the 1st and 2nd ladies finish within a minute of each other.
